After FSSAI's Old Monk action, could Minty Jamun and Mango Chilli Vodka face scrutiny?
These niche vodkas are legally protected under a separate ‘Premix/Flavoured Vodka’ category. The FSSAI rules note that when a brand produces a flavoured vodka, it is not attempting to trick consumers into thinking the spirit developed those profiles and explicitly declares the added ingredients.
