Alibaba launches Qwen3.8-Max-Preview, says it trails only Anthropic's Fable 5

Alibaba has launched its new Qwen3.8-Max-Preview AI model with 2.4 trillion parameters. The preview version is available through Alibaba's Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork. To mark the launch, Alibaba is offering the model at 10% of the standard price. It is also offering an exclusive night-time rate with discounts of up to 98%.
