Sensex jumps 950 points, Nifty 50 ends above 24,300, driven by Reliance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank shares
Sensex jumped 965 points, or 1.25%, to close at 78,151.45, while Nifty 50 jumped 262 points, or 1.09%, to end at 24,334.30. Nifty Midcap 100 index slipped 0.41%, and the Smallcap 100 index dropped 0.21%.
