Sun Mobility t3-55T electric trucks with world’s first modular battery swapping at Pravaas 5.0
Unlike passenger cars, commercial vehicles are judged primarily on operating economics rather than technology. Sun Mobility is betting that battery swapping can tip that equation by cutting upfront vehicle costs, reducing charging downtime and creating a shared energy network that multiple truck and bus manufacturers can use. Backed by a $78 million IndoFast-IOCL joint venture, the companyAIS-038-certified platform aims to cut upfront vehicle costs by about 40 per cent and address one of the biggest barriers to commercial EV adoption.
