Volvo layoff: Carmaker to cut 2,500 jobs globally as Q3 loss widens, to affect about 6% of workforce
Volvo Cars announced it would cut about 2,500 jobs worldwide, 2,000 of which are in Sweden, saying it was facing “a very tough environment”, including US tariffs and “hypercompetition” from local brands in China.
