Microsoft partners with Singapore's Lightstorm to build India-Southeast Asia undersea cable
A consortium including Microsoft and Lightstorm plans to build the I-2SEA undersea cable connecting India, Malaysia, and Singapore, aimed at supporting AI and cloud infrastructure. The 3,600 km cable will be operational by late 2029, enhancing India's data capacity significantly.
