US startup plans to sell sunlight at night with help from India's Skyroot Aerospace
Reflect Orbital is revolutionizing nighttime visibility by launching satellites to deliver on-demand sunlight. In collaboration with Skyroot Aerospace, they plan two launches using Vikram rockets. This groundbreaking service promises to aid disaster relief efforts, brighten industrial areas, and improve public events. Recently receiving Federal Communications Commission approval for a demonstration satellite, the initiative sparks discussion on its environmental implications relating to artificial lighting.
